The company has been independently audited under the associated ‘Verify’ system and is formally approved as a specialist contractor to the electricity industry.
Celtic Recycling’s unwavering commitment to health, safety and environmental compliance has led to excellent relationships with the regulatory authorities, particularly the Environment Agency and the Health and Safety Executive; indeed, the HSE has featured the company in a training video to illustrate safe working practices.
In August 1996, Celtic Recycling became only the eighth UK Company to be awarded the internationally recognised environmental management standard ISO 14001, and is still the only specialist plant recycling company to have achieved ISO 14001, the quality standard ISO 9001:2000 and Investors in People.
The company is headquartered in Pyle, Bridgend, where it has custom-built premises with state-of-the-art facilities. The recent opening of an office in Barnsley actively supports the provision of an efficient, first-class nationwide service.
